Day 1
Day 1: City Tour in Cusco
- Upon your arrival at Cusco airport, Andes Explore Peru staff will be waiting to greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Cusco.
- After reaching your hotel, you'll have some time to acclimate to the altitude before starting the activities.
- In the afternoon, the City Tour in Cusco will begin, organized by Andes Explore Peru.
- The tour starts with private transport to the city center.
- Our first stop is Cusco Cathedral in the Plaza de Armas for a guided visit.
- After the cathedral, we’ll walk to Qoricancha, also known as the Temple of the Sun, where Inca and Spanish cultures blend.
- After the Qoricancha tour, we will head out of Cusco to visit the Sacsayhuamán Archaeological Center, where our guide will explain its impressive stone walls.
- We’ll continue with a visit to the mysterious ceremonial site of Qenqo.
- To finish the tour, we’ll visit the ruins of Pucapucara and Tambomachay, where you’ll learn more about the Inca civilization.
- We’ll then return to Cusco and drop you off at your hotel.
Day 2
Day 2: Machu Picchu Full Day
- Enjoy breakfast at your Cusco hotel, provided by Andes Explore Peru.
- Andes Explore Peru will pick you up and drive you to Ollantaytambo train station.
- Board the train to Aguas Calientes, with spectacular views along the way.
- Upon arrival at Aguas Calientes, Andes Explore Peru staff will be waiting to escort you to the bus station.
- We will then take the bus to the Machu Picchu Sanctuary.
- Once inside, you’ll have a 2-hour guided tour of Machu Picchu, where a Andes Explore Peru professional guide will explain the rich history and secrets of this wonder.
- After the tour, we will return to Aguas Calientes by bus.
- Enjoy a buffet lunch in Aguas Calientes, organized by Andes Explore Peru.
- After lunch, you’ll have free time to visit the artisan market or explore Machu Picchu Pueblo.
- At the agreed time, we’ll board the train back to Ollantaytambo.
- Once back in Ollantaytambo, Andes Explore Peru’ private transport will take you back to Cusco.
- We will return you to your hotel to conclude this memorable day.
Day 3
Day 3: End of Our Journey
