Day 1
Day 1: Arrival in Cusco
- Upon arrival at Cusco airport, Andes Explore Peru staff will be waiting to greet you and comfortably transfer you to your hotel in Cusco.
- You will have the rest of the day free to explore the city or relax after your journey, with the flexibility provided by Andes Explore Peru.
- Enjoy a peaceful night at your hotel in Cusco, arranged by Andes Explore Peru, to start your adventure refreshed and ready to explore.
Day 2
Day 2: City Tour in Cusco
- In the morning or afternoon, as per your preference, we will begin the tour organized by Andes Explore Peru.
- The tour starts with Andes Explore Peru’ private transport taking you to the center of Cusco.
- Our first stop is the majestic Cusco Cathedral located in the city’s main square, where you will enjoy a guided visit.
- After visiting the cathedral, we will walk to Qoricancha, also known as the Temple of the Sun, a site where Inca and Spanish cultures blend.
- After the Qoricancha tour, we’ll head outside Cusco to visit Sacsayhuamán Archaeological Center, where our Andes Explore Peru guide will explain the significance of its impressive stone walls.
- We will then visit the mysterious Qenqo, followed by Pucapucara and Tambomachay, to learn more about Inca history.
- After finishing the tour, we will return to Cusco and drop you off at your hotel.
Day 3
Day 3: Machu Picchu Full Day
- Start the day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Cusco, courtesy of Andes Explore Peru.
- The Andes Explore Peru team will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Ollantaytambo train station.
- Board the train to Aguas Calientes, enjoying a scenic ride as you prepare for your visit to Machu Picchu.
- Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, Andes Explore Peru staff will welcome you at the station and accompany you to the bus station.
- We will take the bus to Machu Picchu Sanctuary, where you’ll enjoy an unforgettable 2-hour guided tour led by a Andes Explore Peru expert, who will explain the history and mysteries of this world wonder.
- After the tour, we’ll return to Aguas Calientes for a delicious buffet lunch, organized by Andes Explore Peru.
- Following lunch, you’ll have free time to explore the artisan market or stroll through Machu Picchu Pueblo.
- At the agreed time, we will head to the train station to board the train back to Ollantaytambo.
- Upon arrival, Andes Explore Peru’ private transport will take you back to Cusco, where you can relax after an adventure-filled day at Machu Picchu.
Day 4
